I have used this drug book for years before I retired from nursing. It comes out yearly. The Dr. I worked with said he did not knowwhy the Drs.' drug handbooks were not as informative. It is well worth the cost.
This drug handbook is great resource. It includes the onset, peak, and duration and is well organized. In addition, the center of the book includes some pictures of PO medications. The book arrived in a timely manner and is well worth the cost.
An excellent and convenient resource for nurses who are too busy to pick up the PDR or other more detailed drug information. I try to update mine each year, as new drugs are coming out too quickly to keep up with them without a handy resource such as the Nursing Drug Handbooks.
I am a nurse & purchase this Drug book every year. This is the best price I have ever found considering the company charges over $54. I am very happy with the book & elated about the price on my fixed income
Terrible book in digital form. Unlike the paper version you CANNOT easily look things up. I have a great deal of experience with medical reference books. What a waste of money Do NOT get this book in this format.
This is the only drug handbook I have bought for 20 years to carry around with me in my visiting nurse work. I like to have a hard copy with me when in patients' homes for those times the laptop just doesn't work, or when the agency drug info just isn't adequate. Dependable, thorough, and easy to find info.
Totally useless as an e-book. Impossible to locate a drug by search or page # as the locations do not correspond with the page #s, and the search takes a long time and returns in appropriate results. trying to return.
This book has prescriptions listed in alphabetical order, and has all the information I needed.
